Megan is a Registered Practical Nurse with an advanced certificate as a Podortho Foot and Lower Leg Specialist. She graduated the Practical Nursing program from Georgian College in 2013, where she went right into community nursing and has worked for 10 years. Taking pride in her work she thrives on patient care and mastering a large skill set, including wound care, IV therapy, palliative care and much more. Having worked in the community and finding a demanding need for foot care and lower leg assessments with minimal resources, she decided that she wanted to do more and provide services that could make an impact. Advanced foot care just didn't seem to be enough, through research she found the Podortho Foot Specialty program. Megan knew this was the direction she needed to pursue, registering in the program, and finished at the top of her class with honours. This specialty allows her to provide her community with the resources and treatments each individual needs to leave a healthy footprint on their body, mind, soul, and environment.
